Research: I collaborate with Profs. Anthony Mezzacappa and Eirik Endeve at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville/Oak Ridge National Laboratory on developing a new computer code to simulate core-collapse supernovae in 3D. My work focuses on implementing a discontinuous Galerkin method for solving the general relativistic hydrodynamics equations under a conformally-flat approximation.
